David Whitney serves as the Assistant Director of the University of Florida’s College of Engineering Innovation Institute. In this role, Whitney works with College of Engineering faculty and students to conceive, launch, fund, and operate tech-based, innovation-driven companies. He also teaches Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Engineers to graduate and undergraduate Gator Engineers.
Mr. Whitney earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University as well as an Executive MBA, with high honors, from the University of San Francisco. In addition, Whitney earned a master’s degree in real estate, with high honors, from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business as well as a Certificate in Biotechnology/Healthcare Entrepreneurship from the University of California-Berkeley.
