Jae Hwa Lee is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program of the College of Design, Construction and Planning: Interior Design concentration at the University of Florida. Her minor in Research and Evaluation Methodology (REM) focuses on quantitative research analysis. She has design practice experience and has been engaged research on the environmental impact of creative learning. She has taught IND 1020: Design Innovation both on-line and on the ground to majors and non-majors.  She also has co-taught interior design studios.  Her research focuses on design thinking and creativity.  Jae Hwa specifically examines strategies for enhancing creative thinking and performance through environmental interventions.  Another current research topic is exploring the perceptions of college students on creative learning experiences.   Since the launch of the Innovation Academy, she has assisted in assessing student learning outcomes relating to creativity.  She recently received an outstanding international student award from the University of Florida, and is the co-recipient of the 1st place student research poster award at the international conference—Environmental Design Research Association–EDRA 44.
