Dr. Kristin Joos is the Director of the IA Internship Experience. In 2005 she brought Social Entrepreneurship to UF and co-founded and now directs the Social Impact & Sustainability Initiative in the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation where she creates opportunities for graduate students, undergraduate students, and high school students (through UF’s Young Entrepreneurs for Leadership & Sustainability Summer Program for High School Students) to learn the mindsets & competencies of entrepreneurs with a focus on social entrepreneurship & sustainability. Kristin is passionate about teaching students to use the skills & strategies of business to create innovative & sustainable solutions to social, environmental, and economic problems locally and around the world. In 2011 she served on the IA Curriculum committee and was tasked with planning the IA Internship Experience which she has run since its inception in 2013.
