Recipients of 2022-2023 Luby Microgrant Announced, Includes IA Student Aashi Faldu
Aashi Faldu, UF Innovation Academy senior, has been recognized as a part of the cohort of grant winners for the 2022-2023 Luby Microgrant Pitch Competition.
The Luby Microgrant Pitch Competition, presented by the UF Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, has announced the cohort of winners for 2022-2023. Undergraduate and graduate competitors entered the competition to create growth-oriented business models. The Luby Microgrant Pitch Competition allows competitors to submit a pitch for judging, and selected individuals or teams will receive grant funding.
Eufinity, an anonymous mental health and wellness platform designed to provide accessible and stigma-free resources to college students, was awarded $5,000. Eufinity users are anonymously connected with other students on their college campus to chat and are also able to meet with trained coaches one-on-one in a safe space. Aashi Faldu, co-founder of Eufinity, is a senior at the UF Innovation Academy majoring in Biology with a minor in Innovation. Since 2018, Faldu has been involved in the healthcare field and she is passionate about providing mental health to underserved communities.
