Ambassador Program
Purpose Statement
Innovation Academy Ambassadors represent the Innovation Academy (IA), conducting IA information sessions, serving on IA committees, and acting as liaisons between IA and IA students, family, and stakeholders. They will provide support to departmental programs and initiatives, serve as student representatives at University of Florida (UF) and IA events, and assist with outreach, marketing, and recruitment efforts of IA. Through these experiences, Ambassadors will enhance their leadership abilities, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, in addition to networking with professionals, potential employers, and UF faculty and staff.
Minimum Requirements
- Maintain full-time student status (minimum of 12 credits in the Spring and Summer semesters)
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be an IA student who has completed the first two Innovation minor courses: Creativity and Design Thinking for Innovation and Innovation in Action
- Must be in good academic and conduct standing with the University of Florida and Innovation Academy
- Commit to serving IA for one FULL year
- Submit an updated resume with a completed application by the deadline
